JA Summer Fellows Application
Follow these easy steps to apply:
Step 1: Review eligibility critera below. If you answer “no” to any of the questions, you are ineligible for the Fellowship. If you have any questions regarding eligibility, email Lindsay Tallman at email@example.com.
a. Are you the originator of this idea? If not, do you have the rights to use this idea from its originator?
b. If you receive this Fellowship, are you willing to work on this enterprise at least 9.6 hours a week for 8 weeks from the JA Summer Fellows Lab in the Junior Achievement James R. and Patricia Hemak Experiential Learning Center in St. Paul?
c. If your enterprise is already running, are you the primary decision maker for this enterprise?
d. If your enterprise is already running, is this enterprise independent from an other organization or business?
Step 2: Create or collect the required supplemental materials below:
a. Reference: Contact name of reference from any personal or professional connection who can speak to your professional abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and leadership track record.
b. Personal video (optional): a short (no longer than 2 minutes) video telling us about you and your idea. We are interested in seeing you pitch your idea and yourself for the JA Summer Fellows program. Do not worry about video quality or editing – any smartphone video will suffice.
Step 3: Complete and submit the online application. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on May 13, 2019. Decisions will be made the week of May 23.
