High School Classroom

JA’s high school programs prepare students for their future by helping them make informed, intelligent decisions about college or a career, and foster skills that are useful in the business world. Learn more about our high school programs.

Volunteer Role
Classroom volunteers deliver our curriculum on a weekly basis. Classroom visits are scheduled directly with the assigned teacher, allowing for flexibility in scheduling.

Time Commitment

  • Multi-visit delivery – volunteers visit the classroom on five to seven separate occasions, 45 minutes per visit
  • Pre-classroom preparation is also required to familiarize the volunteer with the curriculum and organize/prepare the kit materials (approximately 5 hours)

Locationprinter friendly format
Lessons are delivered on-site at the school.

Volunteer Training
JA provides all the training and materials you’ll need to be prepared.

JA’s high school curriculum is geared toward 9th through 12th graders. Classroom size depends on the school, ranging from 15 to 30 students.
