Philanthropy Center
Employees at the Peter J. King Philanthropy Center choose a non-profit to support from a list including Can-Do Canines, Feed My Starving Children, and the Special Olympics. Then, they tell others about their chosen non-profit through fun activities, games, and creative ads. They collect pledges from the other BizTown businesses and talk to BizTown citizens about making a BizTown cash donation as well. Employees learn about how to write a grant, how to make communities better, and the many things that non-profits do for our society.
