The Retail Center provides JA BizTown citizens with hair styling recommendations through a virtual makeover app. Students have an opportunity to purchase merchandise and seek expertise from Retail Center stylists.

  • Assists with all business duties when employees are on break

CFO

  • Keeps all records of business expenses and payment

SENIOR STYLIST

  • Learns how to cut hair on a mannequin head
  • Helps design and create products for customers
  • Works with the customer to determine what kind of hairstyle they want
  • Prints hairstyles for customers using an iPad
  • Assists with scheduling and sales as needed

SALON MANAGER

  • Creates a positive environment for the team and customers
  • Works with CEO to set the goals and product prices for the day
  • Sets up the POS System and display area
  • Greets customers and assists them with scheduling and sales
  • Accepts payment for purchased items
  • Forwards payments to CFO
