Owatonna Area

regional office stock photo webDuring the 2018-2019 school year, Junior Achievement North served 5,791 K-12 students in the Owatonna area, impacting students in Owatonna, Waseca, Medford, New Richland area, and Faribault. Programs offered include the traditional classroom programs (K-12), and the capstone programs of JA BizTown, JA Finance Park Virtual, JA Company Program and JA Titan.

We partner with Farmamerica, the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Steele County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern MN, and the Owatonna Foundation for extended learning opportunities to achieve our mission. These unique opportunities are available to local schools thanks to the generosity of local foundations, corporations and individual donors, as well as to the many volunteers who give their time to teach JA lessons in the classrooms. Our advisory team consists of an Owatonna Advisory Board with 14 active members, a Waseca Advisory Committee, and one full-time staff member.
